It's GOTCHA Day!!!

We went all over yesterday and collapsed at about 7PM. The mid day nap didn't really happen, but we did relax for a bit. We went to a couple Jade markets and a Flower market. Bought a couple gifts for Joshua. We have about 15 more gifts to go as we are going to do for Joshua as we did for Amber and have one gift for each birthday be from Taiwan (China for Amber). We walked for a while looking for a "Welcome Market" finally found one when after we gave up. By then we were so far from the hotel I wasn't interested in dragging a bundle of diapers back. So we pressed on - after looking through the store. We came upon the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) that we have to go to tomorrow for the visa. It will be easy to find again as it is the only 3 story tan building in that area. Then the markets lead us to the blue line (train) and by then we figured we would go to a SOGO - department store - it is 14 floors of department store. We could find much baby stuff and no diapers. Then we came out and there was another SOGO (14 floors too) across the street. So we gave it a go. Yeap it was different stuff and the grocery in the basement had lots of baby stuff (SOGOs at blue and brown line intersection - Zhongxiao Fuxing station). So we drug all the stuff back to the hotel and decided to take a break before going out to the night market and FELL ASLEEP. SO we got up at 3:30 AM today instead of 3:00AM like yesterday. That's OK because it is GOTCHA DAY! We had a nice web chat with Amber this morning and we are off to the races. Next post will have pics of Joshua with us. See ya then!
